How AsmiAI verifies tools

Last updated: October 2026

Most AI directories list whatever is submitted. AsmiAI checks each tool against its own website before it is listed. This page explains exactly what we check and what we do not claim.

What we check before listing

The tool is a real, working product with its own website.
Pricing is read from the tool's own pricing page, not from the submission form.
Privacy policy, terms of service and a refund or cancellation policy exist, and a working contact address is published.
The submitter writes from an address on the tool's own domain, or confirms ownership another way.
The description and feature list match what the site actually offers.

What we decline

Resellers or look-alike sites that use a well-known product's name without being run by that company. These are either declined or listed clearly as third-party services.
Sites whose pages contradict each other, such as a "free" claim next to paid-only pricing.
Bulk submissions from a shared address for unrelated tools.
Tools with no identifiable operator and no contact address.

What our ratings are

The star rating on a tool page is an AsmiAI editorial rating. It is not an average of user reviews. It reflects our reading of the product's features, pricing clarity, limits and fit for its category. We do not claim to have run every tool through a formal benchmark.

Pricing and update dates

Plans and prices are recorded on the date shown on each page. Vendors change prices often, so check the vendor's site before you buy. If something on a page is out of date, tell us at info@asmiai.xyz and we will correct it.

Paid listings

Vendors can pay for Featured or Spotlight placement. Payment buys visibility only. A paid listing goes through the same checks, and payment does not raise an editorial rating. See the disclosure page for affiliate and advertising details.
